Pharmintech 2010 is an international showcase for the processing and packaging technology that serves the pharmaceutical, personal care, nutraceutical, and related industries. Worldwide buyers travel to Bologna, Italy to see what exhibitors from various countries have to offer. Italy enjoys a leadership role in these industries. And at Pharmintech, the depth and breadth of Italian innovation is on display.

In Europe, Italy is second only to Germany in having the largest number of pharmaceutical firms. Many international pharmaceutical companies have production sites in Italy, which report excellent performance in production. For that reason at Pharmintech equipment manufacturers are able to reach the highest quality of buyers and find the solution to their production and packaging needs.

The over 4,000 visitors that attended the last Pharmintech edition were also extremely pleased, and gave the exhibition high marks. They were able to see products from 263 exhibitors, with 30% of these companies coming from outside of Italy. They were able to see the world’s latest technology, and get their questions answered by production and packaging experts. Likewise, exhibitors expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of the exhibition: 83% said visitors’ decision-making power was satisfactory, while an impressive 43% acquired new prospects.

Pharmintech will be a guide to move through the pharmaceutical industry, which is extremely complex, in constant evolution and where change is the normal condition.
