Pharmintech 2010 meets the objectives.
Satisfied exhibitors and great international visibility.

Pharmintech 2010 has met the objectives. The third edition of the exhibition closed on Friday May 14th at Bolognafiere in a full success, strengthening its role as reference exhibition for the pharmaceutical business community.

Beginning with the international ISPE and PDA convention held on May 11th, the three-yearly event dedicated to processing and packaging technology, ancillary equipment and services for the pharmaceutical industry organized by Ipack-Ima spa had the ability to give worldwide visibility to pharmaceutical-related industries, of which it is the only showcase in Europe. The excellent exhibiting mix - 35% of the 350 exhibitors come from outside of Italy, with over 50 companies from Germany, the first exporting country ahead of Italy – has attracted a great number of visitors.

The survey carried out by the organizers after the closing of the exhibition indicates exhibitors are satisfied about the number of visits to their stand and the new contacts acquired during Pharmintech 2010. Exhibitors also appreciate the reinforcement of the synergic bond with the pharmaceutical industry corroborated by the appointment of Farmindustria leader Sergio Dompé as president of Pharmintech 2010. The great value of Italian companies – some of which built such an outstanding international reputation as to derive 90% of their total turnover from exports – owes to the ongoing exchange of expertise, technology and scientific innovations. The new area dedicated to contract manufacturing, for the first time giving contact manufacturing companies an entirely dedicated section to present their activities, was also highly praised by exhibitors.

The quality and wide variety of side events – the opening convention and the programme of meetings and seminars were a big success – have contributed to strengthening the exhibition; additions such as the innovation corner, featuring presentations from exhibiting companies, and the area "Meet the future. University and Research at Pharmintech" giving several Universities the opportunity to present their research projects have made of Pharmintech 2010 a truly exhaustive event.
